Not really. It’s a little rough for the first 5 miles. We recommend going down about 8 miles from bolivar until you see the old piers in the distance. That’s the best widest beach. There’s a good shelling beach on the way down. We will be tent camping Friday and possibly Saturday. Mike and Donna. Give us a shout if you like, and let us know your on the McFadden discussion group. Tent, blue pop up Ford F-250 FX 4 off road. Magnet color. Signage on the back window. Last camping for us. It will be too dang hot after this weekend.
So I've only seen a couple of people pull their trailers in and I'm assuming they pulled in when the tide was 0' or less and left when it was 0' or less. When the tide is that low, you can avoid all of the rough stuff as you will be able to drive on hard packed sand near the water's edge. Other than that, I would not recommend it.
